We have closed Växthuset after 10 years. The only thing we know about the future is that we will be opening a new restaurant fairly soon, and that we will continue to work sustainably with high-quality ingredients. Beyond that, we don’t know much yet but we hope you’ll want to join us on our journey forward.
Below you’ll find some information for those who have valid gift cards with us. We offer two options:
Keep your gift card:
You may choose to save your gift card for our new restaurant. It will then be valid for two years from the opening date.
Request a refund:
If you prefer a refund, please send the gift card’s serial number to vaxthuset@husetunderbron.se. The refund will be issued to the account used for the original purchase. Once we have received the serial number, your refund will be processed shortly.

An Era Comes to an End – We’re Closing Växthuset.
For the past ten years, Växthuset — the plant-based fine dining restaurant beneath the bridge — has been an integral part of Trädgården and Under Bron’s identity; a pioneer in the green kitchen, but also a home for art, culture, and music.
A lot can happen in a decade. Tastes change, the world changes — and so do we.
That’s why we’ve decided to take a step back and close Växthuset for the time being. It’s a decision rooted in our desire to grow, to make room for new ideas, and to find a fresh expression that aligns with our vision. Our goal is to reopen in the near future with a new concept — one that carries forward our experiences, lessons, and the sense of community that has grown over these years.
We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to all our guests, colleagues, suppliers, artists, and musicians who have made Växthuset what it is today. This isn’t goodbye — just a see you later. 🌱
Our last day of service will be November 1st.
